Railside Golf Club, Gibson City
Railside Golf Club is a privately owned, open to the public, golf facility located in the heart of Central Illinois between Champaign-Urbana and Bloomington-Normal. The facility includes a Championship 18-Hole layout with bent grass fairways, tees, and greens; extensive practice facilities with three practice greens and a 20-station bent grass driving range; and a beautiful clubhouse including golf shop, restaurant, lounge, and a 200 seat banquet operation.

Willow Pond Golf Course, Rantoul
Willow Pond Golf Course is an 18 hole public golf course that is situated on the former Chanute Air Force Base. Many of the old hangers are still standing and are visible from some of the holes. The course is very picturesque with numerous mature trees lining the fairways. Water hazards come into play on five of the eighteen holes. Every green has a slight break to it, which makes precise putting important. The golf course is ready to take on every skill level if you're ready for the challenge. Lake of the Woods Forest Preserve is a popular site located in a rolling wooded area near Mahomet, Illinois. This beautiful park occupies almost 900 acres along the corridor of the Sangamon River. Kickapoo State Park
Once a scarred wasteland ravaged by turn-of-the-century strip-mine operations, Kickapoo State State Recreation Area's 2,842 acres now provide an outdoor playground with something to appeal to every member of the family.
